Vail Daily letter: Act fast to change party affiliation
Vail, CO, Colorado
Jan. 15 is the deadline to register for your party affiliation. If you want to get involved in choosing the candidate of your choice, you must register or re-register your party affiliation by that date.
If you do not register, you will have no say in which candidates run for the offices of governor, Senate and local offices next November. It is very simple. Just go online to http://www.eaglecounty.us/clerk/changes.cfm.
Here, you may register or re-register, should you decide to change your party affiliation.
If you do not live in Eagle County, you can Google voter registration for your county.
As we all learned back in grammar school, voting is a right for which our founders fought. People all over the world have given their lives to be able to vote, and many still cannot. We are very fortunate in these United States of America to have been born into this right. Some may have become complacent throughout the years, but now is the time to re-up your constitutional right to vote for that individual whom you support.
Be part of the process. No matter which party you want to affiliate with, register or re-register now!

Are we seeing more bears because there are more bears on the valley floor, or because we’re all spending more time at home? It could be a bit of both.
