Vail Daily letter: Appreciate vote against town of Vail budget

As a 26-year, full-time, year-round resident of east Vail, I would like to say thank you to councilmen Kevin Foley and Andrew Daly for casting a “no” vote on the 2011 town of Vail budget.
Although it was defeated 5-2, it is nice to know how they voted.
With a 2011 Town Council race slated for November, it is my hope we will see some newly elected officials who will be much more fiscally conservative during these economic times.
