Vail Daily letter: Bob Parker sends his thanks to Vail Valley
Vail, CO, Colorado
Since neither e-mail nor mail addresses are available for all, I’d like to express with this letter my profound thanks to all who attended the Ski Museum coffee and the dinner for “Vail’s Unsung Heroes” on Dec. 11.
Two problems — the hour and the lack of oxygen — kept me from seeing and thanking all who were present. Unfortunately, age and altitude have little respect for anyone!
It was a fabulous gathering, but there were many I could not see and chat with personally. All present should know how much I wish I could have met and talked with them.
Whatever my failings, folks in Vail should understand my love and gratitude for their help over the years. As I hope I communicated, Vail and Beaver Creek could not have happened without the team effort involving many who were not there, and all who were!
Again, “muchas gracias” as they say around here.
