Vail Daily letter: Brave young man

John King
Vail, CO, Colorado

During the evening of Sunday, Jan. 6, my wife and dog were attacked by another dog at the intersection of Church Street and Fourth Street in Eagle.

Fortunately, a young man who was driving by, stopped and helped pull the attacking dog away from my dog and wife. Both my wife and dog suffered injuries, but nothing compared to what could have happened had this courageous young man not have stopped to help.

We owe you our deepest thanks and would like to personally thank you and offer you a token of our appreciation.

Please call me and identify yourself by describing the situation and the dogs involved, and we would love to meet you and give you a well deserved thank you. You truly were a good Samaritan.
