Vail Daily letter: Christmas play

The Vail Academy’s Christmas play, “Miracle at Midnight,” will get you in the Christmas spirit! We have many talented kids in this program. It will teach you about Jesus’ birth!

TVA is performing the Christmas play at the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek on Friday, Dec.17, at 6:30 and it ends at 8:15. TVA stands for “The Vail Academy” and it is a Christian school for kindergarten through eighth grade. We have been practicing since Oct.15.

First, Mrs. Howell’s orchestra will play some nice music. Then the St. Clare’s choir is going to sing some Christmas carols. After that, TVA and St. Clare’s are going to lead some more Christmas carols, and you can sing along. My favorites are “Hark the Herald,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” and “Jingle Bells,” Then during the intermission, we will have a silent auction so you can all go look at our projects that we made in our classes, and you can bid to buy them. TVA’s play “Miracle at Midnight” will be after intermission. The play is a humorous story about “Mayor Mayor’s” silly election in Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus.

If you want to get in the Christmas spirit, come to The Vail Academy’s Christmas program! You will learn about Jesus’ birth and have fun with the humorous comedy play. You can get your tickets at The Vail Academy and at The Vilar Center. Hurry now, they’re selling out fast! Make sure you mark it down on your calendar! See you there!
