Vail Daily letter: Come to livestock auction!
July 24, 2010
I would like to invite everyone to the Eagle County Junior Livestock Sale on Saturday, July 31. I will be selling a pig, chicken and rabbit at the sale. Over the last four months, I have cared for and fed my animals.
The animals have been grain-fed, without hormones, and will provide a great quality meat.
You can view the 4-H livestock anytime during the fair. We are located in the Event Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds. There will be a free barbecue at noon on July 31 for potential buyers and their families. At 12:30, there will be a fashion revue where 4-Hers will be modeling their clothing projects. The sale starts at 1:30.
There are many benefits to buying an animal at the Junior Livestock Auction, which include: better-quality meat; support to local youth; recognition of your business in newspaper ads following the sale; advertising on next year’s sale poster; a color photo of you and your sale animal; buyer’s banner and thank you letter from 4-H’er.
