Vail Daily letter: Customer service a bit lax

To all the people that are opposed to the Eagle River Station Project, I have a story to tell you.

I had arranged for two local business to come to my home recently to give me an estimate on some work that we want done. They were due to come on Monday and Thursday evening. Neither local businesses showed up nor had the decency to call and let me know they weren’t coming.

What happened to common courtesy? We had planned to get three bids, the third coming from a big box company. Fortunately, they showed up on time as scheduled and will now probably get our business.



So for the those local companies, if this is how you conduct your business, then you have a right to be concerned.
