Vail Daily letter: Gems a socialist conspiracy
Vail, CO, Colorado
The current legislation, the so-called “Hidden Gems” bill that U.S. Rep. Jared Polis supports, is just the tip of the iceberg.
All across the West, the federal government under the guise of environmental protectionism is trying to take control of land equaling the size of the states of Colorado and Wyoming.
I’m sure that all the liberals, or the ones I heard at the town hall meeting at Battle Mountain High School, think it is wonderful and will help the wildlife population and give them places to hike without those ruffian mountain bikers and motorcyclists stirring up all that dust, which gets their clothes so dirty.
Actually, it is part of a much larger and more serious plan by the regime to control half of the real estate of the United States.
Why would they want to do that? you might ask. Good question. It is to control the resources of our country and put them out of reach to us forever.

I am familiar with much of the Eagle County areas on a first-foot basis, and I can tell you it’s not to prevent someone from building a house or a lodge. The land is already protected from that kind of use. It’s to stop potential mining, oil and natural gas exploration.
But you might say, “These are bad things. Just listen to the current administration. They’ll tell you so. That’s why we had to put a moratorium on drilling in the gulf.”
These things all go hand in hand. This and other measures yet to come down the pike, like “cap and trade,” will help assure that our economy can’t grow and that you and your children will pay the price. That there will be fewer new jobs and we will all be forced to become dependent on the government as a society.
It’s all politics, and the bleeding-heart liberals are being duped into supporting it. If they (George Soros and the Democrat progressives) ever told you the truth, I’m afraid you wouldn’t believe what they have in store for us.
This concept has been tried around the world (Russia, China, Venezuala, Cuba) and has failed miserably and subjugated its people, taken their freedom and put them into poverty for life.
Look around you, and see what’s going on in the big, big picture.
Don’t be so easily duped out of all that you hold sacred for you and your children, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Our founders got it right the first time.
Wake up, America. Educate yourselves. Look at our real history.
Look at the candidates, and understand who they really are and what they are really saying. Then and only then, cast an educated vote.
It’s our only hope.
