Vail Daily letter: Helping conserve land

Kara Heide
Executive director
Vail, CO Colorado

On behalf of the board of directors for the Eagle Valley Land Trust, I would like to thank the Vail Firefighters Association and the Eagle-Vail Golf Course for generously investing in our local Land Trust with proceeds from the Vail Firefighters 17th Annual Benefit Golf Tourney. The support of our local firefighters is most appreciated as we work to conserve open space within Eagle County.

Your local Land Trust currently protects over 6,000 acres of land for the benefit of our community; open space that will remain open forever due to the work of the Eagle Valley Land Trust. We are extremely grateful for investments from local groups like the Vail Firefighters Association so the Land Trust may continue to steward our precious open space. Special thanks go to Mark Mobley and Cooter Overcash for their friendship and support.

Together, we will continue to conserve and protect forever our scenic vistas, open spaces, historic lands, waterways and wildlife habitats for the benefit of Eagle County residents and visitors.

Thank you again to the Vail Firefighters Association and the Eagle-Vail Golf Course. Thank you for making a difference in our community through land conservation.
