Vail Daily letter: If health care bill’s so good, why …
Vail, CO, Colorado
If the health-care bill is so good for America:
Why were 59 percent of Americans against it while 39 percent for it? (CNN)
Why was the only bipartisan support against the bill?
Why do more than 30 states plan to fight the bill in court?
Why were backroom deals necessary to buy the votes needed to pass the bill?
Why is Obama working on selling the bill to Americans after it has passed?
Why were accounting gimmicks that would be criminal in the private sector necessary to gain support for the bill?
Why doesn’t the bill improve quality of care or rein in costs?
Why is it necessary to hire 17,000 new IRS agents to ensure compliance?
Why, in spite of what Congress tells us, do 81 percent of voters believe the actual costs of the bill will be higher than projected? (Rasmussen)
Why, in spite of what Obama tells us, do 60 percent of voters believe the bill will increase the deficit, while only 19 percent believe the deficit will decrease? (Rasmussen)
