Vail Daily letter: It’s clean-up time

Sue Mott
Volunteer coordinator

The annual Eagle River Watershed Council highway clean-up will be held Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. until noon. Many teams will be picking up trash along Interstate I-70 and Highways 6, 24 and 131 working together to keep Eagle County green! Following the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to a barbecue at the Broken Arrow Restaurant at Arrowhead, with entertainment by the Turntable Review band.

The cleanup is made possible by presenting sponsor Vail Resorts Echo and other sponsors El Pomar Foundation, Eagle River Foundation, Eagle County, Vail Daily, First Bank, Eagle Ranch, Slifer, Smith and Frampton; and towns of Eagle, Gypsum and Vail.

More sponsors are very welcome!

If you would like to join a team, please contact Sue Mott, 970-926-3956, or email the Eagle River Watershed Council at . We would appreciate your help in this great community undertaking.
