Vail Daily letter: It’s time to build ERS

Regarding Eagle River Station, I believe it is time to stop saying “no” to the gift horse before you. Let RED Development do what they do. Their record is near perfect.

Stop thinking that it will ruin the community because it won’t. The influx for construction in the blue-collar community alone will make everyone in the community prosper.

ERS is the long-needed shot in the arm this valley needs. Think about the majority in this valley, not just Eagle, who need to work now.

The Town Board is not trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes! The project has met the criteria and passed per the adopted master plan. Please allow it to proceed.

You all were against Costco, against Home Depot, against Walmart, against City Market, against Burger King, etc.

Can’t you just be for something for once in your lives? Seems like the only time I run into the people who were against everything (you know who you are) is in one of the stores they were against or down in Glenwood spending all their dollars out of town.

ERS makes sense. Please stop picking it apart and let the town and developers do their job! They have dedicated their lives to doing what is right and in the best interest of everyone, not just a few.
