Vail Daily letter: Kemps inspired by Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a force for good. God has blessed the work of those who have picked up hammer and nail in acts of love around the world, and my dad was proud to be a partner in the work.

The Kemp family is grateful for the recognition that Habitat in the Vail Valley has given Dad, and we know that he would want everybody to know that he stood on the shoulders of many who came before him, and we have the opportunity now to stand strong and allow others to stand on our shoulders as they reach new heights for their families and themselves.

We are grateful for the support of so many friends in the valley who have contributed to this Fox Hollow project, especially the builders who even in down economic times have joyfully contributed their talents to help those who are seeking to build a better life for their family.

The work continues, and we look forward to the completion of yet another inspirational Habitat build.

On behalf of my mom, Joanne, and my siblings, please accept our fond regards.
