Vail Daily letter: Kindness of strangers

Recently while on a ski trip to Vail, I fell and hurt my knee. I could hardly walk in my ski boots and while leaving after getting down to the bottom, a really kind gentleman came out of a shop and took my skiis and carried them for me.
I am still blown away from this random act of kindness. He said he was from Vail.
Thank you for having such kind locals.
I am in the tourist business in Wisconsin and know how important it is for locals to be kind and welcome our visitors. That is how we all make a living.
I can’t wait to return next year.
