Vail Daily letter: Open space or rec area?
Vail, CO, Colorado
Welcome, Denver and the world, to Lake Creek, playground in the Rockies: 600 to 1,300 acres of terrain in the Edwards view corridor may become vehicle-accessible.
In the summer, enjoy your ATVs, riding horseback, four-wheeling and maybe BMX structures.
In the winter, ride your snowmobile or Arctic Cat, or go snowshoeing.
I have a credible witness who has spoken with those in charge of open space funds. He will testify that he was told the funds would be used to improve the economy.
What could this mean to Lake Creek? Perhaps the above!
