Dr. Klodas gets our vote for health-care reform czar.
If the politicians in charge of health-care reform could think so logically and would leave their political IOUs at home, they might be able to fix the current system.
One thing omitted from Dr. Klodas’ analysis is the need for portability of insurance. Lack of portability disincentivizes preventive care, since the recipient of the cost savings is the next insurance company, not the one who paid the bill.
