Vail Daily letter: Pets need help

Sheila Fitzpatrick, DVM
Eagle, CO Colorado

In the face of down economic times, many pet owners in our valley are faced with either providing for their families or for their pets’ veterinary needs, and, in many instances, when emergency veterinary care is needed, pet owners simply can do nothing. We are here to help! The Eagle Valley Humane Society has been gracious enough to provide a free spay/neuter program for those who are in financial need but now, they are getting a moderate increase in the number of phone calls rom pet owners who simply cannot pay for their emergency pet care.

This has prompted Mountain Mobile Veterinary Services and the Animal Surgical and Hospital Center to team up with the Eagle Valley Humane Society to establish a “Pets Who Need Help Fund.” All donations to the fund are tax deductible. Please help us help pets who need emergency veterinary care and donate today!

Donations can be made to: MMVS

If you have questions about the free spay/neuter program or donating to the program, you can also contact Char Quinn of the Eagle Valley Humane Society at 328-PETS. Thanks!
