Vail Daily letter: Ride the Rockies stop a success
The Vail Valley, specifically Edwards, had the opportunity to host the Ride the Rockies event on Monday. These types of events don’t just happen – there are a number of behind-the-scenes people and organizations that make it work.
On behalf of the Vail Valley Partnership, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved in helping make the Vail Valley stop of Ride the Rockies a huge success. Specifically, special thanks go to WECMRD, the Eagle County School District, the town of Gypsum, Waste Management, RSC Rentals, Beaver Creek Resort Co., Eagle County, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, Rudy Navarrez and our entertainment for the day, including Kevin Heinz, Juke Box Heroes, Stache and Stereo Assassins.
Of course, last but certainly not least, thanks to our event planners, NRC Presents and Eagle Valley Events, and all the volunteers. We could not have hosted this event without everyone’s time, effort and in-kind donations. It’s a testament to our community that so many organizations and individuals came together to donate time and services to make this a wonderful event for all the participants.
