Vail Daily letter: Santa Paws Fundraiser succeeds

Kate Kunert
Vail, CO, Colorado

On Saturday, Nov. 14, the annual Santa Paws fundraiser was held at Castle Peak Vet in Eagle. This year Castle Peak Veterinary and Wendy Griffith Photography asked our group, Vail Pet Partners, to participate as the beneficiary of this event.

We had a steady stream of families and pets come in to get their photo taken with Santa and make the day more successful than we had hoped for!

The donations given to Vail Pet Partners as we try to grow and expand our program are so important.

We are touched by and grateful for the generosity of businesses and individuals who support our programs.

Our most sincere thank you goes to Maria and the Castle Peak Veterinary staff, Wendy Griffith and of course Santa for the effort they make to put on this event and for giving up a Saturday of their time to benefit our group.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Last but not least! We want to thank everyone who attended to get their Santa photo taken and for your generous donations to Vail Pet Partners. It was an incredibly fun day.

We enjoyed meeting you and your pets. Don’t forget to go online to to get your photo!

On behalf of Vail Pet Partners,

Kate Kunert and Mack
