Vail Daily letter: Thankful for safety pros
Vail, CO, Colorado
As a new resident of Edwards, I would like to publicly recognize our Sheriff’s Office and Eagle River Fire Protection District.
On Wednesday, Dec. 26, I had a situation at our home that appeared to have been an unexpected entry into our home while I was not there. I found out about it on the way up from Boulder and called the Sheriff’s Office for advice. They said they would meet me there.
To make a long story short, we did not have an intruder, but we did have a flood.
What was most touching to me is that all of these professionals served us in a way that was very professional, caring and compassionate at a time that was quite frenetic.
I am impressed with the service that I experienced from all of these men and women serving our community. Kudos to you all. We are lucky to have you.
