Vail Daily letter: Thanks for help

I just wanted to take the time to thank all the community members for coming out for the silent auction to benefit my sister Karol last Saturday at Paddy’s.

It was a huge success and we couldn’t do it without the help and support of the entire Eagle Valley.

We would also like to thank Rob and Susan Swimm for hosting the event at their fine establishment, Karen Simon from the Vail Valley Charitable Fund for her valuable expertise, and Sarah Mausolf from the Vail Daily for her continued coverage of our efforts.

I would also like to show my gratitude to The Karol Rubi Effort, a group of friends and family members that came together back in January to help Karol and to put on two great fundraisers in her behalf.

It’s been a long process, but we have accomplished our goals set out in our first meeting together. Thank you for volunteering your time and for all your hard work.
