Vail Daily letter: Thanks for help at rummage sale

Sue Mott
Vail, CO, Colorado

Another year has come and gone for the great annual Eagle Valley Community Fund Rummage sale, and “Sue’s Cafe” served coffee, doughnuts, lemonade, ice tea, and baked goods to many a happy shopper. This wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for so many contributors, sponsors, and bakeries!

Local City Markets, Safeway and Village Market made sure we had the supplies needed, while Bonjour Bakery, Beaver Creek Blue Moose, Columbine Bakery, Columbine Market and Coyote Cafe made sure we had delicious home-baked goods for all to enjoy.

Even though the economy is tough right now, my loyal sponsors came through again as they have for so many years . Our grateful thanks go out to them for helping make the EVCF sale such a great success: Dietz Management; Bob and Helen Fritch; Oran and Paula Palmateer; Bruce Allen, CPA; Gallegos Masonry; Warner Developments; Porterfield and Associates.; Johnson and Kunkel Associates; Black Bear Real Estate; Swallow Oil Co; Segerberg, Mayhew Architects; Castle Peak Veterinary Services; Edward Jones Investments; 4 Eagle Ranch; Wells Fargo Bank; and Eagle Valley Enterprise.

All monies raised by the EVCF stays in Eagle County, going to close to 60 nonprofit organizations. We appreciate the help of all of you to make these donations possible.
