Vail Daily letter: Thanks for support for elk foundation
Vail, CO, Colorado
The Eagle Valley Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation would like to say thanks to all of the sponsors, donors and attendees of the 19th annual Big Game Banquet. This year’s banquet was a huge success and our chapter was able to raise almost $45,000 for the mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Our chapter is extremely grateful to everyone who came out and had a great time for a great cause.
This year was the biggest banquet ever for our chapter, with more than 400 conservationists attending. Additionally, over 50 kids enjoyed the night’s fun and activities.
A special thank you goes out to all of the attendees who brought their children and thanks to all of the kids who shot in the SAFE shooting house. Midway USA has given our chapter a bonus for getting the next generation of hunters and shooters involved and interested in conservation and shooting.
Following our last meeting of the year and after the outcome of this year’s banquet, all the committee could concentrate on was next year’s banquet and how we could make it better. If anyone has any ideas, we would love to hear them. If anyone is interested in helping with next year’s banquet, we would really appreciate the help.
Thanks again to everyone. Without each of you who supports our chapter and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, we couldn’t continue our mission of “ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat.”
