Vail Daily letter: What an evening!
On Tuesday, July 31, my husband and I attended the inaugural program of the Bravo’s Silver Oak Series at the Donavan Pavilion. Little did we know when we purchased our tickets that would were in for a memorable evening of great music from the three pianist, Anne- Marie McDermott, Bravo’s Festival Artistic Director Stephen Prutsman and Pedja Muzijevic.
The program advertised as five centuries of music played by the pianists was very diverse and exciting. Jackqui Taylor, Bravo’s artistic administrator, promised a musical adventure and the soldout audience of over 200 enthusiastically enjoyed the program.
The setting at the Donavan Pavilion was a perfect setting for the chamber concert. Following the one hour and 15 minute performance, wine and appetizers were served and then we had a question-and-answer session with all the musicians for the series.
We hope others had the same great experience!
