Vail Daily letter: Wolf for sheriff
July 27, 2010
I am writing this letter in support and to share my working experience with Deputy Charles Wolf. I am a retired firefighter/EMT and emergency manager for Ruidoso, N.M.
While I was a firefighter, I served as the volunteer firefighter coordinator. Charles was one of those dedicated people who volunteered his time and money on a regular basis. Charles attended numerous trainings when off duty from his police supervisor job to help educate himself in all aspects of emergency services.
Although a requirement for paid firemen, Charles attended basic emergency medical training on his own. Whether it was working a motor vehicle crash, house fire, or forest fire, Charles was capable of directing people as well as taking directions without questions to get the job accomplished.
I recommend Charles Wolf for your next Eagle County sheriff.
