Vail Daily Town Talk: Enter the county fair

The Eagle County Fair & Rodeo’s open class competition provides an opportunity for all Eagle County residents to participate in the county fair. If you can grow it, craft it, brew it or bake it, then chances are there is a class for you to compete for the grand champion glory. Submissions for non-perishable exhibits can be made on Monday, July 17, from noon to 6:30 p.m. and the perishable exhibits deadline is Tuesday, July 18, from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the Eagle River Center at the Eagle County Fairgrounds in Eagle. New Solar Vail apartments open with 65 units

Those units are all deed-restricted, meaning that only people who work an annual average of 30 hours per week can live there. That keeps the apartments out of the short-term rental pool and available to local residents.
