Eagle’s Easter Egg Hunt will be at the Town Park today at 10 a.m. for kids 10 and younger. Bring your own basket, and meet the Easter Bunny. Eggernaut gives kids ages 4 to 12 a chance to build a contraption around an egg and drop it from 30 feet to see if it breaks. Gypsum will host its Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at the Lundgren Theater Lawn with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Egg-hunt times are scattered: 10 a.m. for 2- to 4-year-olds, 10:45 a.m. for 5- to 7-year-olds and 11:30 a.m. for 8- to 10-year-olds. Kids also can decorate eggs and bunny hop on bouncers.
Congratulations to Bailey Garton, who will be representing Colorado in the National Speech & Debate Tournament in Kansas City in June. To get there, she slogged through seven grueling rounds of Humor Interp and won the meet! Her parents are extremely proud. And, as an added bonus, they’d like to invite everyone to see Bailey sing with legendary soul singer Hazel Miller on Tuesday at the Vilar at 6 p.m. Break both legs, Bopper! Love, Mom and Dad.
Coats were switched March 27 at the First Descents fundraiser at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Contact 970-949-4064 if you have a fake, black Russian wool coat that isn’t yours. This person has your fake black Russian wool coat.
