The Town of Avon's Annual Egg Hunt in Harry A. Nottingham Park was a huge success this year! See you next year!

We take info from your business or organization about deals, happenings and more on a first-come, first-served basis. Send your Tidbit to for all the photo submissions. We really appreciate them, and we want you to have your photos back! Please pick up your photos at the front office of the Daily within 30 days. Two weeks ago longtime Avon local Andrew Rouse was training for the Freeskiing World Tour at Snowbird and had a traumatic fall. He fractured hi C7 vertebrae, got a concussion and blew his knee for the fourth time. Though he has extreme sports injury insurance, it’s not going to cover another knee surgery. And that’s where we come in – we’re throwing a party/raffle/silent auction on his behalf Tuesday at Finnegans Wake. Party starts at 8 p.m., and the band Coldsmoke comes on at 10 p.m. Come bid on some killer gift certificates and products in honor of Andrew!
