Vail Daily Town Talk: Hats for Nepal

The fourth graders at Eagle County Charter Academy along with Marie, from Patterns of Joy, and several parent volunteers made hats for children in Nepal. The Sherpa Foundation will be taking the warm and fuzzy hats to the region near Mount Everest. Students learned that many children there living in mountains higher than ours often don't have hats to keep them warm in the winter. Please support these two wonderful local nonprofits: The Sherpa Foundation and Patterns of Joy.
