Vail Daily Town Talk: Meet the Duck Wranglers

The Boy Scouts of Troop 231 were the duck wranglers at the Vail Rotary Duck Race. They were paid $1,200 for helping at the race and also raised $264 through duck sales. Pictured, from left, are Richard Howard (adult in back), Sawyer Blair, Ryan Barrie, Stuart Howard, Matthew Cox, Nathan Free and Dan Cox. The Vail Duck Race is the top fundraiser for the Vail Rotary Club and benefits local nonprofits that participate in the adoption of ducks as well as local and international projects supported by the Rotary. The Vail Rotary meets every Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Manor Vail Hotel.
