The Sawatch View Condominiums in Gypsum will bring the Easter Bunny to the project’s grand opening festivities Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Bring the kids to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a treat and enjoy refreshments. Grown-ups can enter to win door prizes and take a tour of Gypsum’s newest affordable-housing development. Buy a condo this weekend and you’ll receive a 40-inch flat-screen TV.

The Sawatch View Condominiums are at 765 Red Table Drive in Gypsum, two miles west of Costco. Follow the signs and watch for the balloons.

Like any Beaver Creek employee who parks in the Elk Lot, I’m used to having empty Avon-route buses drive past me as I’m waiting to go up the hill and get to my job. Never mind that they’re headed to the same place we need to get to – they don’t have to stop, so they don’t. But today the Turtle Bus stopped and picked us up! Just out of the blue (or the green!). What a great day! What a great turtle! Viva la Tortuga!
