Paul, thank you for presenting exciting and workable alternatives to the tired, asphalt laden, auto-dependent corporate mall by the highway idea.

Eagle River Station runs totally against the grain of Eagle’s Community Plan and the wishes of county residents, who placed regional shopping as one of the items they wanted least.

It is not connected to our existing business cores and will not be accessible to or encourage pedestrian or bicycle use.

The corporations will change us from a town of business owners to a town of hourly managers and the profits will be sent to bank accounts in large coastal cities.

Surely we can do better for our unique mountain town.
