Vail dentist to offer free treatment

VAIL, Colorado – Dr. Paul Corcoran will hold a Dentistry From the Heart program, offering free dental treatment to those 18 and older, on Oct. 16.

The event will take place on at Corcoran’s office in the Vail Professional Building at 953 South Frontage Road in Vail. Starting at 8 a.m., Corcoran and his team will treat the first 25 patients, or however many they can service by 1 pm.

Patients will be given the option to have a dental cleaning, one filling or an extraction.

Dentistry From The Heart is a national nonprofit organization with a simple mission – making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a dentist in New Port Richey, Florida, the group was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance, and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. To date, the group has helped over 5,000 patients and provided over $1 million in dental care.

“Now, more than ever, I know there are people that need my services, but have no means to afford them – whether they’re out of a job, or just don’t have dental insurance,” Corcoran said. “This Dentistry From The Heart event is my way of giving back to the community, and being there for people who are in need of dental treatment.”
