"Something Shared II" by Renzo

VAIL — Galerie Zuger in Vail will be displaying artist Larry "Renzo" Lewis' latest body of work. The paintings and sculptures of Renzo express the universal bond of humanity and the connection to each other contemporaneously.

He aims to explore the qualities that unify humanity with itself and the qualities that distinguish humanity from that which surrounds it.

According to Galerie Zuger, Renzo's works are a "window to the lucid realities of life, a starting point for perceptual interpretation. They share a dreamlike cross-cultural connection of beings to their world."

CATALYST FOR HIS WORK

Renzo, although he has no formal art training, has been working as an artist for 39 years, including as an editorial cartoonist for a local newspaper before he graduated from high school. Originally from California, he has since lived in Australia and Mexico and considers his passion for Latin America to be a catalyst for his work.

His paintings are often seen as philosophical interpretations waiting to be explored. The gallery will be displaying his newest works beginning Friday.
