VAIL, Colorado – Weather permitting, the Vail Golf Club will be closed Monday for annual aerifcation work. The driving range will remain open. Beginning Tuesday, golfers will pay $25 all you can play to walk, or $35 including cart. Additional work is under way for the remainder of the season and includes rebuilding of the upper tees or back tees on hole seven, replacement of the bridges located on holes 11 and 17 and building new weather shelters on holes three and 11.

Removal of beetle killed trees on holes two, five and eight and winterization of the irrigation system also is under way.

Weather permitting, work will last through November.

The course is scheduled to remain open until Oct. 31, weather permitting. For more information, call the Vail Golf Club at 479-2260.
