Vail library offering amnesty
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado ” The Vail Public Library is offering patrons an amnesty month.
In an effort to recover overdue materials, the library is offering a fine free month which will extend through May 15. If patrons have overdue books, DVDs, audio books or any other item belonging to the library, the staff will take them back, no questions asked and no fines or fees assessed, said Librarian Lori A. Barnes.
“We’re happy to offer this service to our patrons in an effort to get library materials home and also to give our patrons the opportunity to ‘wipe the slate clean,'” she said.
Patrons may return materials by using one of the book drops located outside the front doors of the library or in front of Safeway in West Vail, or by using the book return inside the library.
