Vail man accused of selling cocaine

VAIL ” A Vail man was arrested on suspicion of selling two grams of cocaine to an informant in the parking lot of Middle Creek Apartments, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said.
Morris Ray Mitchell, 48, of Vail, was arrested Monday morning on a warrant that a judge signed after the drug deal, said Shannon Cordingly, spokeswoman for the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
Cordingly declined to say when the alleged drug deal took place.
Mitchell, described as a “low-level cocaine dealer,” was being held on a $15,000 bond in Eagle County jail and he did not have an attorney Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Office said.
