Vail: Many firms interested in Ford Park
VAIL, Colorado Sixteen firms have told the town of Vail, Colorado theyre interested in studying whether public parking can be expanding at Ford Park. The study will look at how expanding parking would effect recreational facilities, what it would cost to expand parking, how many spaces could be added and how traffic on the Frontage Road will be impacted. CollinsGwathmey Pratt Schultz Lindall Architects, P.C., VailIBI Group, DenverLand Designs by Ellison, EagleLandworks Design, Inc., DenverOZ Architecture, BoulderVAg Architects and Planners, AvonWinston Associates,BoulderZ Group Architects, AspenZehren and Associates, AvonThe town will evaluate each firms proposal, including how much their plan would cost. The final selection will be made following interviews later in the month and the study should be finished by the end of October.
