Special to the Daily/Cody Downard Vail's HIghest Low Country Crawfish Boil happens Sunday at Eagles Nest on Vail Moutain from noon-2:30 p.m. Free gondola rides to all foot passengers.

Saturday- Bridge “Bourbon” Street Pub Crawl – with New Orleans themed drink specials and commerative event cups, beads and masks. Participating bars include: The Club, Pazzo’s, Red Lion, The George, Samana Lounge, Ski Bar, Tap Room and Vendetta’s.

Sunday- World’s Highest Low Country Crawfish Boil – at Eagles Nest on Vail Mountain from noon-2:30 p.m. Free gondola rides for foot passengers after noon.- Mardi Gras apres party – 3 p.m. at Bart and Yeti’s, Garfinkle’s and Billy’s Island Grill in Lionshead.

Monday and Tuesday- Taste of New Orleans – Restaurants will offer special New Orleans inspired menu items in addition to their everyday selections. Participating restaurants included Bagali’s in West Vail, La Bottega in Vail, Larkspur in Vail, Pazzo’s in Vail, Red Lion in Vail, The George in Vail, Garfinkle’s in Lionshead, Tap Room in Vail, La Tour in Vail, Flying Burrito in Lionshead and Montauk Seafood Grill in Lionshead. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ruli family, whose home was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. Tuesday
