Vail: Memorial Park open house
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL ” The Vail Memorial Park will hold an open house from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the park in East Vail.
The park, which opened in 2004 and is just off the East Vail exit along the bike path, offers memorial places for Vail residents and friends of Vail.
About 60 percent of the memorial spaces have been purchased, and more memorial spots will be created this fall.
The memorials are created in stone walls, on benches and on boulders.
Another new addition at the East Vail site is the Pet Park, a patio of stone that creates a place to memorialize your pet.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

To get to the park, exit the interstate in East Vail and park in the lot on Bighorn Road at the exit. Walk across Bighorn Road to the bike path, heading east. The memorial park is just across the bridge.
