Vail Mountain Bike Camps ready to roll
Tai Chi Chuan
Instructor Daryl Pennington will provide training in Wu and Chen style Tai Chi Chuan. Meditation and Chi Kung (energy exercise) will also be included. This session will be geared toward the beginner, with advanced levels to progress through in subsequent sessions. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m., starting May 21 and running through June 25. Cost is $60 per session. Register at the Avon Recreation Center. For info, call 748-4060.
Gargantuan garage sales
A couple summer extravaganzas are coming up.
n The Great Masonic Garage Sale is Father’s Day Weekend (June 15-16) at the Masonic Lodge in Eagle. They’re doing free pickup. The money goes to their scholarship fund. The last time these guys did one, it had cars and motorcycles in it. For pickup or information, call 328-6596
