Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea was recently honored by Colorado Lending Source with a Small Business Excellence Award.

“It’s a great honor to be selected from several hundred other Colorado businesses,” Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea co-founder Chris Chantler said.

Chantler and fellow company founder Craig Arseneau have worked with lender Citywide Banks. That firm worked with Colorado Lending Source to secure financing for the Minturn-based coffee and tea company.

Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea recently expanded its operation, adding the full service Roastery Cafe inside the roasting facility. There is also a full espresso bar and an assortment of treats. The funding from Colorado Lending Source gave Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea the opportunity to purchase another unit in Minturn’s Meadow Mountain Business Park, giving the company room to continue to expand.

Colorado Lending Source is a non-profit economic development company. In 2018, the firm facilitated the funding of 221 loans totaling $331,674,205.97, helping business owners create 1,747 jobs across the state.
