VAIL — One of the larger garage sales in the valley returns when Vail Mountain School hosts its 22nd annual event on Friday and Saturday.

This year’s sale includes items donated by VMS families and local stores Nest, Treasures, Holy Toledo and Ritzy Recalls.

The event is held at VMS and fills the complete gymnasium as well as the auxiliary gymnasium.

‘BIGGER AND BETTER’

“We’ve nearly doubled the size for this year’s event,” said Sue Franciose, VMS parent and event organizer. “We’ve been collecting donations throughout the year and this year’s sale will be bigger and better than ever. There’s furniture, tons of clothing, appliances, toys, electronics, tools, baby items, sporting goods, bikes, skis, artwork, housewares, linens and much, much more.”

Most adult clothing is $6 per item and children‘s clothing is $4 per item. Shoes are $5 a pair or less.

Proceeds benefit students at Vail Mountain School.

All unsold items will be donated to the Community Rummage Sale in Maloit Park, which takes place in August.
