VAIL – Vail Mountain’s three main base areas – Lionshead, Vail Village and Golden Peak – will remain open through closing day, Sunday. The front side of the mountain will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin hours may vary based upon conditions. More than 3,800 acres of terrain will be open, along with the following lifts:• Avanti Express (Chair 2)• Mountaintop Express (Chair 4)• High Noon Lift (Chair 5)• Riva Bahn Express (Chair 6)• Northwoods Express (Chair 11)• Gopher Hill (Chair 12)• Sourdough Express (Chair 14)• Little Eagle (Chair 15 at Eagle’s Nest)• Vista Bahn (Chair 16)• Eagle Bahn Gondola (Lift 19)• Tea Cup Express (Chair 36)• Skyline Express (Chair 37) • Pete’s Express (Chair 39) Restaurants at Two Elk, Mid-Vail, Buffalo’s and the Eagles Nest Marketplace will also be open. Single day lift tickets are $49 per day for adults and $29 per day for children 12 and under.
