Vail narrows Timber RIdge developers to six
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado ” From a list of 10 potential developers to rebuilt Vail’s Timber Ridge, the town narrowed its choices down to six companies on Tuesday.
The town will interview and negotiate with the “short list” of developers, who responded to a request for proposals to redevelop part of the town-owned employee housing complex.
The short list includes: Alliance Residential Company of Denver, Fritzlen Pierce Architects of Vail, Gorman and Company of Oregon, Wis., McCormack Baron Salazar of Los Angeles, Pacific Companies of Eagle, Idaho, and Vail Timber Ridge, LLC of El Paso, Tex.
The complex, which was built in 1980, is in poor condition. The town wants to provide 600 employee beds in the first phase of redevelopment. A request for proposals was sent out for developers in December 2008.
