Vail, CO Colorado

VAIL, Colorado ” The start of paid parking in Vail, Colorado is expected to begin on Nov. 26.

Paid parking was originally scheduled to begin Nov. 21 with the start of Vail Mountain’s ski season. The postponement will allow for a few days of free parking during the early season.

Increased Vail transit service, however, started Friday for some routes. The supplementary route times are designed to provide riders with more options during the Thanksgiving holiday period and beyond, prior to the start of the regular winter schedule on Dec. 15.

Season parking passes are available for purchase from the Town of Vail and will be sold all winter from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday on the lower level of the Vail Municipal Building at 75 S. Frontage Road. For details on available passes, call 479-2104. Information on parking passes, bus schedules and more is also available at http://www.vailgov.com.
