Vail Parking Task Force needs volunteer

VAIL ” The town of Vail is looking for a volunteer to represent the business community on the Vail Parking Task Force. The panel meets three times a year and makes recommendations to the Town Council on parking policies and plans.

Applicants must own or work at a store or restaurant in Vail. Letters of interest are due to the Town of Vail Mayor by noon, Friday.

An appointment will be made on Monday. The next Task Force meeting is from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Aug. 29.

The Vail Parking Task Force was formed in 1999. Members are: Chairman Farrow Hitt, Town Council representative; Kevin Foley, Town Council representative; Nicole Hoffman-Ewing, business representative; Barbara Krichbaum, citizen representative; Bill Jensen, Vail Resorts, Inc., representative; and Brian McCartney, Vail Resorts, Inc., representative.

The vacancy was created by the resignation of Kenny Friedman, who had served as a business representative.
