Vail Pass back open after crashes

VAIL PASS, Colorado –Vail Pass reopened around 5 p.m. Friday after a string of crashes closed Interstate 70 earlier in the afternoon.

Snow, however, remains in the forecast for tonight and Saturday. Vail remains under a winter storm warning until 6 a.m. Saturday.

Tonight’s National Weather Service forecast calls for another 2 to 4 inches of snow. Another three inches could fall on Saturday.

Snow shows are likely again Sunday.
