Vail Pass reopened eastbound following Tuesday morning closure

UPDATE 12:37 p.m.: The road has reopened, please drive safely.

I-70 at Vail Pass is under a safety closure, according to an EC Alert sent out at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday. There is no estimated time of reopening.

Stormy conditions led to increased travel hazards Tuesday morning as Eagle County was hit with snow and rain.
