Vail Pass I-70 repairs finished for winter

VAIL, Colorado – The Colorado Department of Transportation is suspending work on the Interstate 70 paving and bridge project between Vail Pass and Silverthorne on Friday.

Minor bridge work, some striping and concrete sealing still needs to be completed when the project resumes in spring 2010.

The $11.5 million project, of which $8 million is funded by federal stimulus money, is expected to be completed in the early summer of 2010.
